Classic Margherita Pizza

The epitome of Italian comfort food, the Margherita captures the essence of Naples in every bite. With its vibrant colours and fresh ingredients, this pizza features a Neapolitan-style dough topped with rich, tangy tomato sauce and a sprinkle of fresh basil leaves. The star of the show is Fior di Latte, a classic Neapolitan cheese that perfectly blends together flavours while adding an authentic touch and richness to your pizza. Your customers will taste the difference!

Ingredients

  • 1 each Neapolitan-Style Pizza Dough Ball
  • 75 ml Pizza Sauce
  • 75 g Fior di Latte Cheese, sliced
  • 10 g Basil Leaves, torn

Directions

  1. On a floured surface, stretch the dough into a round shape about 20 cm in diameter. 
  2. Next, evenly spread the tomato sauce, leaving a 2 cm border around the edge. 
  3. Add Fior di Latte on top. 
  4. Bake until ready – baking time will vary depending on the oven type. 
  5. After baking, garnish with torn basil. 
  6. Finally, slice and serve.
