Korean Fusion Pizza

The Korean Pizza is a hit for menus, drawing in diners who crave adventurous flavours. It is a standout option that brings a global stamp to your offerings! Crafted on authentic Neapolitan-style dough, this pizza is a taste powerhouse, starting with a sweet and spicy Gochujang sauce base. It is generously topped with shredded Gold Pizza Mozzarella Cheese, tender pulled pork, caramelized grilled pineapple chunks, and crisp julienned red onions. Finished with fresh-cut green onions, every bite offers an exciting taste that is chingu approved.

Ingredients

  • 1 each Neapolitan-Style Pizza Dough Ball
  • 75 ml Gochujang Sauce
  • 150 g Gold Pizza Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 150 g Pulled Pork
  • 25 ml Gochujang Sauce
  • 75 g Pineapple Chunks, grilled
  • 50 g Red Onion, julienne
  • 10 g Green Onion, bias cut

Gochujang Sauce

  • 500 ml Gochujang Paste
  • 750 ml Tomato Paste
  • 250 ml Rice Vinegar

Directions

  1. For the sauce: Mix the three ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  2. For the pizza: On a floured surface, shape the dough into a 20 cm round.
  3. Spread the Gochujang sauce on the dough, leaving a 2 cm border.
  4. Evenly distribute the Pizza Mozzarella Cheese.
  5. Toss pulled pork with more Gochujang sauce and spread it on the pizza.
  6. Add grilled pineapple and red onion.
  7. Bake until ready – cooking time will vary based on the oven.
  8. After baking, garnish with bias-cut green onions. Slice and serve!
