Mini Jerk Shrimp Mac 'N Cheese

Every game day menu needs the addition of this Mini Jerk Shrimp Mac 'N Cheese. With a spicy twist from the jerk marinade and the creamy indulgence of Old White Cheddar Cheese, it is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on your customers every time.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Old White Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  •  2 tbsp Green Onion, sliced
  • ½ cup 35% Cream
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Jerk Marinade
  • 1 lb Raw Shrimp, remove tail
  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni, cooked

Directions

  1. In a bowl, place your shrimp and coat with jerk marinade. Let that marinate for up to 6 hours in the fridge.
  2. Place a pan on medium heat. Add butter, salt, pepper and garlic. 
  3. Add in the marinated shrimp and cook until 50% done. 
  4. Add in your 35% cream and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Add in Old White Cheddar Cheese and stir slowly. When the cheese is fully melted and forms a sauce, add in elbow macaroni. Continue to stir. 
  6. Portion the mac and cheese into bowls or plates.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve.
