Poutine Pizza

What happens when a Quebec classic meets an Italian staple? Poutine Pizza! 
This pizza features a generous layer of decadent poutine gravy, on a classic Neapolitan-style dough, topped with a mix of Gold Pizza Mozzarella Cheese and classic Cheese Curds. Thinly sliced baby potatoes, crispy crumbled bacon, and fresh green onions add layers of texture and taste that make every bite an exciting experience. The Poutine Pizza is a crowd-pleaser that will quickly become a standout on your menu!

Ingredients

  • 1 each Neapolitan-Style Pizza Dough Ball
  • 75 ml Poutine Gravy
  • 75 g Gold Pizza Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 75 g Cheese Curds
  • 75 g Baby Potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 10 g Green Onion, bias cut
  • 25 g Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 25 ml Poutine Gravy

Directions

  1. On a floured surface, stretch the dough to form a roughly 20 cm round shape. Next, evenly spread the poutine gravy over the dough, leaving a 2 cm border around the edges.
  2. Evenly distribute the Pizza Mozzarella across the surface.
  3. Layer the thinly sliced potatoes and bacon on top of the pizza.
  4. Bake until partially cooked, then take out to add the cheese curds to maintain their texture. Continue baking until done.
  5. After baking, garnish the pizza with bias-cut green onions and a final drizzle of poutine gravy.
  6. Slice and serve.
