Game Day Breakfast Pizza

Adding the Game Day Breakfast Pizza to your menu is a game-changer that’ll have customers coming back for more. With pancake batter as the base, it’s a delicious blend of caramelized onions, crispy bacon, eggs, and rich Pizza Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese Blend Shred then topped with Grated Parmesan and maple syrup. Perfect for a hearty breakfast while catching an early game at your restaurant.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml Buttermilk Pancake Mix
  • 50 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Water, as needed

Toppings

  • 200 g Pizza Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese Blend Shred
  • 50 g Caramelized Onions
  • 6 slices Bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 2 each Eggs
  • 25 gGrated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 stalks Green Onion, minced
  • To taste Salt, Pepper, Red Chili Flakes
  • 25 ml Maple Syrup

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pancake mix and olive oil, then add water and mix until the consistency resembles pizza dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface, knead it, return it to the bowl, cover with a clean, damp kitchen towel, and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the dough from the bowl, place it back on the floured surface, and shape it into a circle, oblong, or square about 1/2 an inch thick. Transfer the crust to the parchment-lined pan and bake for 5-8 minutes until it browns.
  5. Once the crust is done, top it with Pizza Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese Blend Shred, caramelized onions, and bacon, then bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Crack the eggs on top after 5 minutes and bake for another 5 minutes until the egg whites are fully cooked.
  7. Remove from the oven, season with Grated Parmesan Cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Garnish with green onions, drizzle with maple syrup, slice, and serve.

To simplify, either add scrambled eggs instead or fry the egg separately and place it on top of the pizza before serving.
